    hi ,just started watching ur videos and there great ,but i just wanted to know what this mango powder is?? im a pakistani and we do alot of cooking aswell ,but ive never heard of mango powder ? do i have to use it or is it optional?? and does it have a sweet taste ?? lol i dont know why i think that ,but can u reply back thanks!

    I tried few of the vegetable kurma recipes and so far this is the best. I tried with both heavy cream and milk, I have to tell, with heavy cream it taste way better. But as Ms. Manjula mentions if you are counting on calories milk is better. I wonder if we can also use yogurt? I always used more vegetables than she mentioned though, like potatoes and different colored bell peppers and colors are awesome

    you can get hing at an indian grocery store… I’ve never seen it anywhere else. Its supposed to have a garlic/ gingery flavor, but I’ve never used it in my cooking before, so I don’t know for sure. I feel like my dishes are fine without it, but I cook mainly punjabi/ pakistani dishes.

    as a viewer trying to learn as much as possible as quickly as possible, may i please make a request: keep on being tactile!, When you handle the cauliflower here, i get an immediate sense of how it has been cut, and its texture etc. However, as the video progresses you seem to prefer to simply hold the bowls, tipping them towards the camera. But the way you handle food is the way i learn to understand it — so keep on with the touching ok! We need sensory help in this virtual world

    Another great thing on youtube. Thank you for presenting your wonderful recipes. I love the many regional dishes of Indian cuisine. I try to cook some dishes when I can collect the many spices. It is difficult to find a shop that sells quality spices in my area. Ahh…would love to go to India.

    This was absolutely delicious! I had to tone it down for my tastebuds so no pepper. I added 1/2 onion to the tomato base, and one can of chickpeas. Thank you so much for the lesson. I served it with brown Indian rice, and toasted slivered almonds. Wonderful. I did not have all the spices but will be looking for them at an Indian store. Vegetarian never tasted so good!

    Aunty pls coordinate with what you say and what you show?You are saying green chilli powder and showing red chilli powder!!! it happens in most of your recipes.
